You Should Have a Security Alarm
I have been taking incoming phone calls for set-up for over 10 years now. Walker Home Security sets up hundreds of new security alarms from customers in North Texas and Houston each and every month. It’s more common than you think. A security alarm system would have prevented the vast majority of these unpleasant situations.
A major metropolitan city like Dallas or Houston will easily have 15,000 confirmed burglaries and home invasions per year and that’s just the main city, not the entire metroplex. Most of those burglaries don’t turn into live encounters but some do. Did you know that you are up to 4 times less likely to be burglarized or victimized with a monitored security alarm? Anyway, I digress; the point is that we hear about a lot of burglaries each and every day. It simply doesn’t make sense not to live a more security conscience lifestyle by paying for alarm monitoring.
The two times that we recommend setting security alarms are while you are sleeping and anytime the home is unattended. Unfortunately we are hearing of more break-ins at night while people are sleeping but most still occur while the home is unattended. The most common time that we here of break-ins is when someone has just left the home for an hour or two. So, make sure you set your alarm system every single time you leave the home. If you set home alarm while you are away then you are far less likely to have a run in with a criminal.
