Tired of the high prices and service of national security alarm companies?
Walker Home Security is the largest independent Alarm Company in Texas with over 18,000 activations and counting!
This page is for those of you that have an alarm system that is more than 10 years old. Many systems are still usable until they are 15 years old. If your alarm system is less than roughly ten years old then we should be able to use it. There is nothing wrong with a 10-year-old alarm system. They work essentially the same exact way as a brand new alarm system does. Additionally, you will get a discount on your alarm-monitoring rate for having an existing alarm system so you might as well use it. Our technicians will do multiple minor fixes for free to get your existing equipment up and running. Remember, we have been doing business in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston Metros for over a decade. We are the best source for working on your existing alarm system. There isn’t an alarm system in DFW or Houston that we haven’t worked on.
Now, let’s assume that we cannot use your existing alarm system. Don’t worry; Walker Home Security has great deals on swap outs. A swap out is when we replace your existing keypad or keypads as well as the control panel and back-up battery. In most cases the rest of the existing equipment will still work and again we will do minor repairs (if possible) on existing equipment to get it up and running. We have free hook-up specials on just about any scenario that you might have but it is less for the monthly monitoring if you have working equipment or at least equipment that we can get working. Walker Home Security has an extremely knowledgeable staff that can walk through the particulars on the type of system that you have. Again, ninety percent of the time we are able to use your existing equipment and get it working free of charge and get you set up on extremely competitive rates. Simply give us a call and we can tell you within minutes what we can do with the type and age of alarm system that you have.
