With very few exceptions, if you keep your alarm set and monitored the burglars hear the siren and run off. As well, the police are called by our 24-hour central monitoring station if you don't answer and call off the alarm and then and you are called and notified of the alarm event. We highly recommend setting your home alarm ANYTIME the home is unattended and also while you are sleeping at night.
